On the night of March 30, drones targeted a number of industrial facilities across Russia. Fires and infrastructure damage were reported in several regions.
According to Telegram channels ASTRA and Supernova+, the Ust-Luga port in Russia’s Leningrad region was among the targets, where a fire broke out following the attack. Additional resources, including firefighting trains, were deployed to contain the blaze.
Attacks on industrial facilities were also reported in other regions. In Tolyatti, smoke was seen at the KuibyshevAzot chemical plant after a drone strike.
In occupied Alchevsk in Ukraine’s Luhansk region, reports said a substation caught fire and a metallurgical plant was hit following the attack.
There were also reports of extensive air defense activity in Taganrog, Rostov region, during the drone attack.
Meanwhile, Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed that 102 drones were allegedly shot down overnight across multiple regions, as well as over the Sea of Azov and annexed Crimea.
