The Group 13 special unit of Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence carried out an operation in temporarily occupied Crimea and struck two Russian military radar facilities.
Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence reported this.
During the operation, the unit hit a command vehicle belonging to the Podlyot radar system, as well as a friend-or-foe identification system — the Parol-4 radar interrogator.
The operation took place in late July 2026. To strike ground targets, the intelligence officers used the latest Magura maritime platforms, including FPV drone carriers.

“From now on, our Maguras pose a threat to the Russian occupiers on land as well — this fundamentally shifts the fight into a new dimension,” said the commander of Group 13, whose call sign is Thirteenth.
Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence noted that during the war, Group 13 operators have destroyed nine Russian ships and damaged five others.
The unit has also destroyed three Russian helicopters, damaged another helicopter and destroyed two fighter jets belonging to Russia’s Black Sea Fleet.
