Representatives of the Land Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine met with developers of weapons and military equipment in Kyiv, an important step in the development of defence innovations in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
Other representatives of the Ukrainian Defence Forces also joined the event and presented the latest developments together with Ukrainian engineers. These include missile weapons, unmanned aerial vehicles, communications, electronic warfare and reconnaissance systems, as well as robotic ground systems and artificial intelligence-based technologies, some of which are already being actively used at the frontline.
Colonel Oleh Honcharuk, Deputy Commander of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stressed the importance of close cooperation between the military and manufacturers. According to him, only joint efforts will create innovative solutions that will significantly increase the country’s defence capability.
‘Further cooperation between manufacturers is the key to successful integration of the latest technologies into the military. Joint proposals will help not only make systems and technologies more efficient, but also create new tactics to deter Russian invaders,’ said Oleh Honcharuk.
