        Yuri Ushakov, an aide to the Russian dictator, said that after nearly five hours of talks with the US delegation, no compromise had been reached on the war in Ukraine. No meeting between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump is currently planned.

        This was reported by Russian media outlets TASS and RIA Novosti.

        At the same time, Yuri Ushakov called the talks in Moscow “very useful and good.”

        Results of the meeting between Steve Witkoff and Vladimir Putin:

        • they discussed “territorial issues” – according to Ushakov, the issue of territory is most important for the Kremlin and for the Americans;
        • they discussed the prospects for economic cooperation between Russia and the US;
        • Russia will continue contacts with the US at the level of representatives and assistants – a meeting between Putin and Trump depends on the results of this cooperation;
        • Russia received four more documents from the US, in addition to the basis of the “peace plan”;
        • they discussed the essence, rather than the specific wording and points of the “peace plan” for Ukraine.

        Recall that earlier, Witkoff presented President Trump with a peace plan that required Ukraine to withdraw from the territory of Donetsk Oblast and completely renounce NATO membership. The plan had a total of 28 points. Meetings between representatives of the US and Ukraine took place on November 23 in Geneva and November 30 in Miami. The day before, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the peace plan now contains 20 points.
