American actor and martial artist Jean-Claude Van Damme has challenged boxer and showman Jake Paul to a real fight with no low blows and no elbows. He also said he’s ready to give 15% of his profits to charity and asked people to share this challenge around the world.
Jean-Claude Van Damme posted a video message on his Instagram page.
Van Damme emphasised that he would not strike below the belt so as not to injure his opponent’s knee or shin, and suggested that both fighters defend themselves during the fight. He noted that he considers Paul a brave fighter after his fight with AJ and addressed him ‘as a friend’.
The actor suggested holding the fight in Macau, Las Vegas, the Middle East, Paris or the UK, adding that Paul could choose the location himself.
‘I will donate 15% of my profits to charity. You can do the same, and if not, that’s your decision. And I will force the promoter to do the same. That’s it, a short message. Rules: K-1 vs. boxing, but no low kicks and no elbows,’ said the actor.
Van Damme said he would not stop insisting on the fight until he got the go-ahead.
“What have you got to lose? You’re handsome, you’re a pretty boy. I don’t drive a Ferrari, I’m just a regular guy who wants to kick your ass. It’s that simple. With all due respect, you’re still going to go to bed. See you soon. We can do it at the end of Christmas, as a holiday gift, if you want. I hope you’ll be available. Thank you,” Van Damme said.
