In the village of Shandryholove in Donetsk region, Russian troops shot a civilian family and took a minor girl hostage. According to Ukrainian defenders, the occupiers are using the child to cover their groups and continue their advance in the Lyman direction.
This was reported by the Third Army Corps.
According to the military, radio intercepts revealed that before the assault on Shandryholove, a Russian commander with the call sign “Bali” gave orders to destroy the civilian population, instructing his troops to act quickly and kill everyone.
The enemy unit entered a residential building and shot the peaceful residents, the child’s parents. The girl was kidnapped, and the assault continues, with her being held hostage to prevent anyone from firing at them.
“The corps units are recording this war crime live. All radio intercepts indicate that the enemy’s actions were planned in advance,” the statement said.
