Apple CEO Tim Cook said he does not plan to step down, dismissing speculation about a possible resignation. He emphasized that he cannot imagine his life without the company.
Cook made the remarks in an interview with Good Morning America. According to him, he “deeply loves what he does” and has worked at Apple for 28 years, enjoying both his work and the team.
“I can’t imagine life without Apple,” he said, commenting on his future at the company.
Earlier, the Financial Times reported that Apple had discussed a scenario in which Cook could leave the CEO position in early 2026. However, this referred to internal succession planning rather than a confirmed decision.
During the interview, Cook also spoke about the company’s development ahead of its 50th anniversary, including artificial intelligence, privacy and education initiatives. He noted that technology can have both positive and negative effects depending on how it is used.
In addition, the Apple CEO said the company plans to invest about $600 billion in the United States over the next four years, including in components and semiconductor manufacturing.
