The situation on the frontline remains tense, with Russian troops being active in the Pokrovske and Kurakhove sectors. The enemy is using all available resources to break through, but the Ukrainian Defence Forces are professionally repelling the attacks, inflicting significant losses on the enemy. General situation
There were 146 combat engagements over the last day. Russian artillery shelling caused destruction in a number of settlements on the border with Russia, including Marchykhina Buda, Baranivka, Demyanivka, Bachivsk (Sumy region) and Mykhalchyna Sloboda (Chernihiv region).
Main areas of fighting
- Kharkiv sector: Russian troops stormed the Ukrainian lines near Vovchansk, Lypky and Vysoka Yaruga three times.
- Kupyansk sector: the occupants attacked Ukrainian positions eight times in the areas of Pishchane, Kolisnykivka, Lozova and Zahryzove. Two attacks are still ongoing.
- Liman sector: 21 attacks were recorded on positions near Bohuslavka, Druzhelyubivka, Kopanka, Zelenyi Hai, Zarichne, Terny, Yampolivka, Nadiia and Makiivka. Eight attacks resulted in the enemy’s failure, the rest of the fighting continues.
- Kramatorsk sector: attempted assaults near Stupochky failed.
Hottest spots
- Pokrovsk Sector: Since the beginning of the day, the occupants have carried out 43 attacks near Mirolyubivka, Novotoretske, Promen, Lysivka, Dachenske, Zelenyi, Novyi Trud, Zhovte and Chumatske. The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 36 of them, seven battles are still ongoing.
- Kurakhove sector: 22 out of 31 attacks were repelled in the areas of Sontsivka, Maksymilianivka, Kurakhove and other localities. The fighting continues.
- Vremivka sector: the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions 13 times near Novosilka, Novodarivka, Sukhi Yaliv and Blahodatne. Six firefights are currently underway.
- Orikhiv sector: the enemy stormed Ukrainian positions near Nesterianka.
- Prydniprovskyi sector: three unsuccessful Russian attacks.
Areas with reduced activity
The enemy did not conduct any active operations in the Huliaipil and Siverskyi sectors.
The Ukrainian defence forces are confidently holding their positions despite intense enemy pressure.
