Due to the worsening fuel crisis, Russia is forced to urgently purchase fuel from Belarus. Suppliers are taking advantage of the situation and increasing volumes.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Foreign Intelligence Service.

“After Crimea, Zabaykalsky Krai, and Primorsky Krai, the gasoline shortage has now reached the Kuril Islands—since August 20, restrictions have been introduced there as well: a maximum of 10 liters per person. Priority is given to special services, emergency services, and enterprises. For the population, this is yet another confirmation that the fuel crisis is rapidly deepening,” the Ukrainian Foreign Intelligence Service stated.

In Russia, the fuel shortage has affected the Zabaykalsky region of the Far East, as well as the temporarily occupied Crimea. Long queues at gas stations and fuel rationing are being observed there.

Propaganda media confirm that since the beginning of August, Russia has lost approximately 13% of its oil refining capacity, as Ukrainian drones have struck at least seven oil refineries in Russia, forcing four of them to shut down completely. Drivers in Primorsky Krai began reporting issues with fuel supplies as early as the beginning of August. Since then, the shortage has intensified.
