Four people were injured in a drone attack on Kyiv on January 1, two of whom were hospitalized. The other two received treatment at the scene.
This was announced by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the attack partially destroyed the fourth to sixth floors of a residential building in the Pechersk district, causing a fire that spread across 70 square meters on the 4th and 5th floors. One woman was rescued. The fire has been localized, and efforts to extinguish it are ongoing.
Additionally, a fire broke out on the roof of a nearby non-residential building. Seventy-five rescuers and 19 units of fire and rescue equipment are working at the scene.
In the Svyatoshynskyi district, garages were destroyed, and a fire broke out across 20 square meters. Ten rescuers and two units of fire and rescue equipment are responding to the incident.
