During the day on 26 May, Russian troops struck five settlements in the Kharkiv region. This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Oleg Synyegubov, on Telegram.
As a result of the shelling in the town of Kupiansk, a 67-year-old man was wounded. Two more people were injured in the village of Myrne, Kindrashivska community — a 63-year-old man and an 83-year-old woman.
According to Synyegubov, the occupiers used various types of weapons: two KAB aerial bombs, four Geran-2 drones and one FPV strike drone.
In the Kupiansk district, two private houses, a farm building and a car were damaged. In the Izium district, two agricultural enterprises’ hangars, a tractor and a trailer were damaged in the attack.
Over the past day, 170 combat clashes were recorded on the front line. In the Kharkiv direction, Ukrainian troops repelled five attacks in the Vovchansk and Dvorichna districts. In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy also carried out five attacks, which Ukrainian defenders stopped near Zagryzove, as well as in the directions of Petropavlivka and Nova Kruhlykivka.
