On March 24, at around 5:20 a.m., a Russian drone struck a commuter train traveling from Slatine to Kharkiv in the Kharkiv region. One person was killed in the attack, and there are other casualties.
This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
A direct hit on a train car, which was at the Slatine station, was recorded. Preliminary reports indicate that the Russian army used an FPV drone for the strike.
A 61-year-old passenger was killed at the scene. The train engineer and his assistant suffered acute stress reactions.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the war crime that resulted in a death (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
