Russian soldiers are increasingly resorting to self-destruction on the battlefield after being wounded or when surrounded by drones. This was stated by Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.

According to him, Ukrainian forces receive daily video evidence of Russian infantry self-destruction on the front line.

This mainly occurs after drone-inflicted injuries or during encirclement by Ukrainian drones, and the number of such cases is growing.

Fedorov noted that this situation is the result of decisions made by the Russian leadership. In particular, propaganda creates an illusion of control, while in reality soldiers face a lack of evacuation options and constant drone pressure.

He also said that Russian troops are forbidden from surrendering, despite the fact that prisoner exchanges between the sides take place regularly.

The minister stressed that March could become a record month in terms of Russian military losses. According to estimates, losses could exceed 30,000 killed and seriously wounded.

He added that reaching 50,000 losses per month would have catastrophic consequences for the Russian army.

Fedorov also proposed the idea of awarding additional points to units for confirmed cases of enemy self-destruction.
