Reports in Russia indicate a nighttime attack on an explosives plant in Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod region. There are also reports of explosions and incidents at industrial facilities in Perm.
This was reported by OSINT analysts from the ASTRA project. According to them, on the night of April 30, residents of Dzerzhinsk heard explosions and reported an attack on the local Sverdlov explosives plant.
Analysts reviewed eyewitness videos and recorded smoke rising from the direction of the facility. However, it is currently impossible to determine exactly what caught fire.
The facility in question is the Sverdlov Plant, a key enterprise of Russia’s military-industrial complex. It is a major producer of explosives and holds strategic importance.
The plant is under sanctions from Ukraine, the European Union, the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, and Switzerland. It has previously been targeted multiple times by drones.
Additionally, in Perm, reports indicate an accident involving the release of a hazardous substance following an explosion. According to local channels, an air alert was declared in the region, and residents reported hearing further blasts.
There are also reports of possible repeated strikes on the Perm linear production and dispatch station, a key hub for oil transportation.
According to Russian Telegram channels, air defense systems attempted to repel the attack, while explosions were heard in various parts of the city. Ukrainian monitoring channels also report the use of long-range drones.
There is currently no official information on the extent of damage or the consequences of the incidents.
