On the night of April 14, Russian forces carried out a massive drone attack on civilian and port infrastructure in the south of the Odesa region. The Izmail port and surrounding areas were hit.
This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper. According to him, a civilian vessel under the Panamanian flag, a pier and a barge were damaged at the port, along with port equipment.
As a result of the strikes, a service station building was destroyed and caught fire. Two passenger buses and seven cars were destroyed.
Six private houses were also hit, with their roofs damaged. In addition, an ambulance vehicle was damaged.
According to preliminary data, there were no casualties or injuries. Emergency and municipal services are working at the scene, and the aftermath of the attack is being eliminated.
