Due to ongoing Russian attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, emergency power outages have been introduced in the Kharkiv, Sumy and Poltava regions, meaning previously announced schedules are currently suspended. The situation in the Dnipropetrovsk region remains extremely difficult, but energy workers expect to restore electricity supplies to all consumers by the end of the day.

This was reported by Ukraine’s national power grid operator, Ukrenergo.

According to the company, continuous Russian strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure are significantly complicating the situation in the power system.

As a result, emergency electricity outages have been imposed in the Kharkiv, Sumy and Poltava regions.

Previously published hourly outage schedules in these regions are temporarily suspended. Scheduled restrictions can resume once the situation stabilizes.

Ukrenergo emphasized that emergency outages will be lifted as soon as the condition of the power system allows.

Meanwhile, the situation in the Dnipropetrovsk region remains extremely difficult. Energy workers are gradually restoring electricity supplies to critical infrastructure facilities, while repair crews continue their work.

According to Ukrenergo’s forecast, electricity supplies to all consumers in the region are expected to be restored by the end of the day.

However, during the initial stage, electricity will be supplied on a rotating basis due to grid limitations.

Ukrenergo warned that the situation may change and urged residents to follow updates on the official pages of their local distribution system operators.
