On the night of July 7, pilots of “Kairos” from the 414th Separate Brigade “Magyar’s Birds” struck eight tankers of Russia’s shadow fleet. This was reported by Robert “Magyar” Brovdi, commander of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces.
According to him, the strike took place as part of the “battle for gasoline for Crimea” in the Sea of Azov.
Brovdi said that during a nighttime air-sea battle, a “school” of eight fuel tankers, one dry cargo ship and one ferry was hit.
According to the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, the tankers were damaged and are burning.

He also said that all the tankers had been identified and are under international sanctions. These are vessels with a deadweight of 7,000 tons each, around 140 meters long, built between 2006 and 2012.
Among the tankers hit, Brovdi named Venera-3, Sanar-1, Sanar-17, Klimena, Teti, Alexey Savrasov and Penelope. The name of one more vessel is still being established.
In addition, according to the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, during the night of July 7, the “Birds” of the Unmanned Systems Forces successfully struck 58 legitimate military targets in the enemy’s operational depth in temporarily occupied territories.
Brovdi also said that energy nodes and logistics in Crimea were hit that night, with details of those strikes to be announced later.
