On the night of 19 March, drones attacked the Kavkazskaya oil pumping station in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation, causing a massive fire.
The facility is used to transport Russian oil for export and is part of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium system.
The Kavkazskaya pipeline is designed to transport oil that is then exported abroad. It is connected by pipes to the similar Kropotkin BCP, which was also attacked by drones. Both stations are part of the pipeline system of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC), which is one of Russia’s most important oil companies.
