The Diia app already has over 23 million users, according to the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine. In 2025 alone, 2 million Ukrainians joined the “state in a smartphone.”
The Ministry of Digital Transformation notes that Diia has become one of the largest digital projects in Europe. Today, the app combines 33 digital documents and over 70 government services. Through the platform, Ukrainians can get married online, share their car registration documents, buy military bonds, or apply for housing renovation.
Over 25,000 companies and government agencies have already integrated Diia into their work. Instead of paper copies of documents, there is sharing; instead of pen signatures, there is Diia.Sign; and instead of queues and stress, there is a clear digital service.
According to the IMF, Ukraine’s population in 2025 will be 32.86 million. According to Trading Economics, the share of the population aged 0–14 is 13.89% of the total population of Ukraine. Thus, about 81.3% of Ukrainians over the age of 14 use Diia.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation promises to continue developing the service and adding new features so that the state remains “in your smartphone, not in a queue.”
