The Danish government has approved a new 25th package of military assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine worth DKK 6.7 billion, which is equal to USD 970 million. The assistance is designed for 2025-2027.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Denmark.

The package is funded through the Ukraine Foundation and includes air defense equipment, artillery, and financial contributions to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“It is extremely important that Denmark continues to provide large-scale support to Ukraine. Since the beginning of the war, Denmark has been one of the leading donor countries. With the 25th aid package, we are emphasizing our support for Ukraine in both the short and long term,” said Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen.

In 2025-2027, it is planned to allocate 1.4 billion Danish kroner ($203 million) for financial contributions related to the transfer of artillery and ammunition through allies. Funds are also being allocated for air defense, the development of a drone coalition, and an IT coalition. Based on the positive experience of the Danish model, additional funding is envisaged in 2026-2027 through the Ukrainian defense industry. If additional funds are available, the Danish Ministry of Defense will be able to start a dialogue with the Ukrainian authorities on long-term defense needs earlier.

Denmark is also investing 2 billion kroner ($290 million) in Ukraine’s defense industry. Poulsen emphasized the importance of this support, noting the ability of Ukrainian manufacturers to produce military equipment.
