Arsen Zhumadilov, who previously headed the State Operator of the Logistics, has been appointed head of the Defense Procurement Agency, replacing Maryna Bezrukova.

Arsen Zhumadilov is a Crimean Tatar public and political figure, born in 1985 in Simferopol. He has three degrees, including graduations from the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and the London School of Economics.
He has worked as a senior lecturer at the Department of Political Science at Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and has also worked in the corporate sector in Ukraine and abroad.
After the annexation of Crimea, he moved with his family to mainland Ukraine, while his father and brother remained on the peninsula.
On January 24, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov announces personnel changes at the Defense Procurement Agency due to “failed work.” Deputy Minister Dmytro Klimenkov was dismissed, and it was decided not to extend the contract of Maryna Bezrukova.
