As of 4:00 p.m. on July 19, Ukraine’s Defense Forces are holding back Russian offensive actions. The total number of combat clashes since the start of the day is 38.
In Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the communities of Yanzhulivka, Sosnivka, Khliborob, Petrushivka, and Velyka Pysarivka came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.
In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, four enemy attacks have been recorded today, with one battle still ongoing. The invaders launched four airstrikes, dropping seven guided aerial bombs, and carried out 130 artillery shellings of Ukrainian positions and settlements.
In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked twice near the settlements of Lypci and Starytsia — fighting continues. In the Kupiansk direction, Russian forces are attacking near Holubivka.
In the Lyman direction, there have been seven attacks today in the areas of Novyi Myr, Torske, and Serebrianka — two battles are still ongoing. In the Siversky direction, the enemy has not carried out active actions since the beginning of the day.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Defense Forces repelled one enemy attack near Chasiv Yar. In the Toretsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled four enemy attempts to break through near Diliivka and Toretsk, with one battle still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces have made 15 attempts to push Ukrainian troops from their positions near Popiv Yar, Novoeconomichne, Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Udachne, Novosergiivka, Molodetske, Orikhove, Dachne, and toward Pokrovsk. Ukrainian forces have already repelled 13 attacks. Enemy aircraft carried out airstrikes near Shakhove, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, and Bilytske.
In the Novopavlivka direction, one enemy assault near Shevchenko was stopped. In the Hulyaipole direction, the enemy did not conduct assault operations. In the Orikhiv direction, a clash is ongoing near Kamianske; the enemy also carried out airstrikes on Mala Tokmachka, Chervona Krynytsia, Novodanylivka, Plavni, and Prymorske. In the Prydniprovske direction, the enemy launched airstrikes on Tyahynka and Lvove but did not conduct assaults.
