In Kyiv, the number of people killed as a result of the massive Russian attack on June 15 has risen to five. Another 34 people were injured, including two children.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
“One of the victims, who was in critical condition, died in hospital. Five victims in the capital as a result of the massive attack,” Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote.
Rescuers continue to eliminate the consequences of the massive Russian attack on Kyiv.
The fire on the territory of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra has been extinguished. The fire on the roof of the Dormition Cathedral covered an area of about 800 square meters.
Firefighters also extinguished a fire in the building of the National Cultural, Arts and Museum Complex “Mystetskyi Arsenal”, where the blaze covered an area of about 1,000 square meters.
Emergency response operations are still ongoing at three other locations where Russian strikes damaged civilian and residential infrastructure facilities in the capital.
