The search and rescue operation at the site of a Russian missile strike on a residential area in Dnipro has been completed. The death toll has risen to 16, while 42 people were injured.
Search and rescue teams have completed operations in a residential district of Dnipro that was hit by Russian missiles during the night of June 2.
The update was announced by Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration head Oleksandr Hanzha.
According to him, 16 people were killed in the attack and 42 others were injured.
Among the wounded are four children. Three of them remain hospitalized, along with 21 adults. Doctors are providing all necessary medical assistance to the injured.
Meanwhile, Russian forces launched another attack on Dnipro later in the day.
According to Hanzha, the latest strike caused a fire. Information about possible casualties is still being clarified.
