The number of people killed in the Russian missile strike on Pryluky in Chernihiv Region has risen to 19, including four children. Another 55 people were injured, including seven children.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Efforts to deal with the aftermath of the attack are ongoing. Rescuers are dismantling destroyed structures and searching through the rubble, while all emergency services are working at the scene.
The Chernihiv Regional Military Administration said that a Russian missile struck an ordinary five-story apartment building. Four children were among those killed, while another seven children were injured.
Earlier, Glavnoe in Ukraine reported that the death toll after the strike on Pryluky had risen to 16, including four children.
