The bodies of two more Kenyan citizens who fought on the side of Russia were found in Donetsk region. They were recruited to participate in the war against Ukraine and were killed in the combat zone.
This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
The remains of Kenyans Ombwori Denis Bagaku and Wahome Simon Gititu were found near Lyman. They were found near the body of another killed Kenyan mercenary, Clinton Nyapara Moges, who had been reported earlier by intelligence.
The Main Intelligence Directorate noted that all three Kenyan citizens were recruited to participate in the war against Ukraine in Qatar. There, they worked for security companies and had a stable income, but agreed to the Russian side’s proposal to participate in hostilities.
The Main Intelligence Directorate also warned foreign citizens against traveling to Russia and working in the Russian Federation, emphasizing the high risks of involvement in combat operations.
