Russia is moving North Korean M1989 Koksan self-propelled artillery systems through the temporarily occupied Crimea.

This was reported by the Krymskiy Vetr telegram channel, which published a photo of the military echelon.

The transport of artillery systems was spotted at a railway station in the north of the peninsula. The platforms contain 7-8 self-propelled artillery systems.

In addition, a Chinese truck Sinotruk Howo was spotted in the train – such trucks have been used in North Korea before, in particular during military parades. It is likely to be a transport and reloading vehicle for the M1991 240mm multiple launch rocket system or a support vehicle for the North Korean M1989 Koksan self-propelled artillery systems, which is used to transport 170mm artillery shells.

The Koksan has already been spotted on the frontline. The defence forces have been using various weapons against them in the Kursk region and eastern Ukraine.
