The 1251st day of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun. From July 27 to 28, 158 clashes were recorded along the entire front line. 57 attacks by the invaders were repelled in the Pokrovsky direction, the Russians attacked 18 times in the Lymansky direction, and 10 clashes occurred in the Novopavlivsky direction.
This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
During the day, the invaders carried out 86 air strikes, dropped 132 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the Russians used 4,413 kamikaze drones to destroy them and carried out 5,960 artillery attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and settlements, including 85 from multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor carried out air strikes on the areas of settlements:
- Chuhunivka, Shevyakivka Kharkiv region;
- Rodynske, Myrnograd, Mykolaivka, Pokrovsk Donetsk region;
- Bilogirya, Novoandreyevka, Zarichne, Stepnohirsk Zaporizhia region;
- Lviv Kherson region.
North-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions
The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to restrain the invaders in the North-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions. Thus, over the past day, the enemy carried out 14 air strikes – dropping 31 guided aerial bombs, and carried out 363 shellings, six of which were from multiple rocket launcher systems. Ukrainian defenders stopped nine assault operations.
South-Slobozhansky, Kup’yansky, Lymansky and Siversky directions
In the South-Slobozhansky direction, the aggressor attacked the positions of the Ukrainian defenders seven times in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Zelene, Figolivka, Zapadne and in the direction of Petro-Ivanivka.
In the Kup’yansky direction, six attacks of the invaders took place yesterday. The Ukrainian defenders stopped the enemy’s assault actions in the areas of Rad’kivka, Holubivka and Bohuslavka.
In the Lymansky direction, the enemy attacked 18 times. He tried to wedge into the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Hrekivka and in the directions of Seredny, Hryhorivka and Shandryholovye.
In the Siversky direction, the Ukrainian defenders successfully stopped nine attacks near Serebryanka, Verkhnokam’yansky, Hryhorivka and in the direction of Siversk.
Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Pokrovsky directions
One clash was recorded in the Kramatorsk direction yesterday near Stupochy.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 12 attacks in the areas of Oleksandro-Kalynovye, Rusyny Yar, Toretsk, Shcherbynivka and Yablunivka.
In the Pokrovsky direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 57 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Myrnograd, Novoekonomichne, Razine, Myrolyubivka, Lysivka, Zvirovo, Udachne, Horikhove, Oleksiivka, Poltavka, Kotlyne, as well as in the directions of the settlements of Pokrovsk, Bilytske, Novoukrainka, Novopavlivka, Zapovedne, Rodynske.
Novopavlivskyi, Hulyaipilskyi, Orikhivskyi and other directions
In the Novopavlivskyi direction yesterday, the enemy carried out 10 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Zelene Pole, Novodarivka, Piddubne, Myrne, and in the direction of Andriivka-Klevtsovoye, Temyrivka and Oleksandrograd.
In the Hulyaipilskyi and Orikhivskyi directions, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations.
Over the past day, in the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy made five attempts to advance in the direction of Prydniprovskyi.
In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.
