The consequences of the attacks were reported by Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko.
According to him, at least five people were killed and more than 30 injured as a result of the attack. Russian forces struck eight regions of Ukraine, with the city of Dnipro at the epicenter.
In the city, civilian infrastructure was damaged, and more than 20 people were injured, including a 9-year-old child. Two police officers were also wounded.
At one location, the strike effectively destroyed an entire entrance section of a residential building. Three people were killed, while rescuers managed to evacuate more than 30 residents. Debris removal is ongoing, and people may still be trapped under the rubble.
Klymenko said that one of the drones that hit a building did not detonate. Police evacuated about 100 residents, and bomb disposal experts removed the warhead from an apartment on the third floor and neutralized it.
Civilian infrastructure was also damaged overnight in Chernihiv, Cherkasy, and Odesa regions. Two people were killed in Nizhyn.
In the Kharkiv region, among four injured, there is a one-and-a-half-year-old boy.
Emergency services and National Police units are involved in response efforts. Mobile service centers are working on site to help affected residents restore lost documents.
