President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the country continues diplomatic work with international partners to end the war as soon as possible. The Ukrainian leader emphasized that he “counts on the support of the United States of America.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this on the social network X.
“We continue our work with partners. We have already had conversations, and we are preparing for other steps in the near future,” Zelensky said.
The president emphasized that the main goal of Ukrainian diplomacy is to make it “really meaningful and aimed at ending this war as soon as possible.” According to the President, Ukraine is striving for real peace, as the war continues to destroy cities and villages, taking lives of Ukrainians.
“We need real peace, and Ukrainians want it most of all… We need to stop the war and guarantee security,” he emphasized.
Zelenskyy also emphasized the importance of cooperation with the United States and European partners.
“We are working together with America and with European partners and we are counting on America’s support on the path to peace. We need peace as soon as possible,” the President added.
Ukraine is currently preparing for new negotiations and steps that, according to Zelenskyy, should bring the country closer to stability and security.
