Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska have arrived in Romania to attend the Bucharest Nine summit with the participation of Nordic countries. Zelenskyy said several important meetings are planned on the sidelines of the event.
In a statement on social media, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukraine would work on securing additional resources for defense and expanding the Drone Deals format during the summit.
“We all need common decisions and joint work so there will be more security for everyone,” Zelenskyy said.
The president also said Olena Zelenska would meet with Romania’s first lady and take part in the signing of memorandums on Romanian universities joining the Global Coalition of Ukrainian Studies.
“Thank you to everyone who stands with Ukraine,” Zelenskyy added.
