In his evening address following the 1137th day of the full-scale war, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the Russian missile strike on Kryvyi Rih. According to him, this is one of the most tragic events for the city.

The President said that 18 people had died as a result of the shelling, nine of them children. The youngest child was only three years old. Some of the wounded, including those in serious condition, were evacuated to hospitals in Dnipro. Doctors continue to fight for their lives.

Zelenskyy thanked everyone who promptly arrived at the scene of the tragedy and helped the victims, as well as international partners who publicly condemned the attack. The President stressed that silence about who exactly is killing children only fuels Moscow’s aggression.

The Head of State also informed that after the missile strike, Russian troops had launched additional drone strikes, which resulted in the death of another person and new wounded.

‘Russia must be held accountable for everything it has done, and we must really put pressure on them, not waste time in empty talk, in order to end this war,’ the President stressed.
