Ukraine’s long-range strikes have reached an oil refinery in Ufa for the second time. The facility is one of Russia’s largest producers of lubricants. Ukrainian weapons also hit a strategic Russian defense industry facility in the Penza region.

        President Volodymyr Zelensky reported this.

According to the president, the strike on the Ufa refinery was another Ukrainian “sanctions response” to Russia’s prolongation of the war.

“For the second time, our sanctions responses to Russia’s dragging out of the war have reached the oil refinery in Ufa — one of Russia’s largest producers of lubricants,” Zelensky said.

He noted that the facility is located more than 1,300 kilometers from the front line.

In addition, Ukrainian weapons reached a strategic facility of Russia’s military-industrial complex in the Penza region. According to Zelensky, the site is involved in the development and production of components for missile weapons that Russian forces use to strike Ukrainian cities and communities.

The distance to that target is about 600 kilometers from the front line.

Zelensky said Ukraine is carrying out its plan for the use of long-range “sanctions” against Russia every day.

“This is absolutely fair in response to everything Russia is doing against us. Peace is needed, and this is what the Russian leadership must realize. Russia must end its war,” the president said.

He also thanked Ukrainian soldiers who ensure Ukraine’s long-range precision.
