Peace is possible through strength, and energy resources, including oil, play a key role in this. Europe should cooperate more actively with the United States and partners, not Russia, to ensure security and end the war.
This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy in his evening address on January 23.
President Zelenskiy noted that coordination of international work is ongoing, including meetings on cooperation with the United States and European partners. In his opinion, peace can be achieved through strength, and Ukraine is absolutely confident in this.
“The main thing is to keep up the momentum and put pressure on Russia, the only entity that wants this war, that is to blame for this war. It is Russia that is trying to prolong the aggression and occupation. Of course, energy resources, and specifically oil, are one of the most important keys to peace and real security. And Europe needs to work more with America and other partners in the world, not with Russia, on energy resources,” the Ukrainian leader said.
Ukrainian diplomacy and international communication are already being prepared to ensure a strong position for both Ukraine and the whole of Europe.
