Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak said that the negotiating teams of Ukraine and the United States may meet in the near future.

Andriy Yermak said this after a telephone conversation with U.S. National Security Advisor Michael Volz.

“I had a phone conversation with National Security Advisor to the President of the United States Michael Volz, we discussed further steps towards a just and lasting peace,” Yermak said.

“We agreed to meet our teams in the near future to continue this important work,” the head of the OP added.

As previously stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, work on this meeting began today.

“Everyone sees how quickly diplomatic events are developing. Today, our teams from Ukraine and the United States started working on the meeting. Andriy Yermak and Mike Volz spoke. There is a positive movement, we hope for the first results next week,” Zelensky said in his evening address.
