Volunteers from a humanitarian organisation were staying in a hotel in Kryvyi Rih, which was hit by a Russian missile on 5 March.
This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
‘Just before the attack, volunteers from a humanitarian organization – citizens of Ukraine, the United States, and the United Kingdom – had checked into the hotel. They survived because they managed to get down from their rooms in time. Unfortunately, four people were killed in this attack,’ Zelensky said.
As a reminder, the strike killed three men and a woman, one of whom died in hospital. Thirty-one people were injured, including a child.
