Rail infrastructure on the Vasylkiv-1 — Boyarka section has been fully restored after recent damage, Ukrzaliznytsia reported. Thanks to the coordinated efforts of railway workers and emergency service teams, all repairs were completed in record time.
Evening passenger trains are already returning to their routes. For now, trains on this stretch are being hauled by diesel locomotives, as restoration of the overhead power lines is still ongoing. The company also warned that some trains already en route may experience delays.
Starting tomorrow morning, suburban trains between Kyiv and Vasylkiv via Boyarka will run without restrictions.
“We thank our colleagues and everyone who contributed to overcoming the consequences of this emergency,” Ukrzaliznytsia said in a statement.
Up-to-date information on train delays is available on the company’s website: uz-vezemo.uz.gov.ua/delayform.
