On the night of August 16, Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out strikes on a number of important Russian military targets in temporarily occupied territories.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.
In particular, a concentration area of a Russian missile unit was struck in the settlement of Rezervne in temporarily occupied Crimea.
Ukrainian forces also struck a railway bridge near Svitlodolynske in Zaporizhzhia region. According to the General Staff, Russian troops used it for military logistics and the movement of personnel.
In addition, Ukraine’s Defense Forces hit Russian logistics and ammunition depots in Karlivka, Donetsk region.
The General Staff has not yet disclosed information about the extent of the damage or Russian losses.
