Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck several important Russian military and military-economic targets overnight on July 26. The targets included a Chornomornaftogaz facility and an attack-drone control relay in occupied Crimea, a UAV warehouse, a military logistics bridge and an area where Russian troops were concentrated.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the strikes.
Ukrainian forces hit a Chornomornaftogaz facility near Vnukove in temporarily occupied Crimea. The General Staff said the target had been struck.
After Russia’s occupation of Crimea, the seized Chornomornaftogaz facilities have been used to extract, store and transport natural gas and petroleum products. They also supply the fuel and energy needs of Russia’s occupying force on the peninsula.
A ground-based relay used to control Geran and Gerbera attack drones was struck near Chornomorske. Such relays increase the range, stability and quality of drone control during Russian attacks on Ukraine.
Ukraine’s Defense Forces also struck a road bridge near Vyselky in the Donetsk region. Russian forces used the bridge for military logistics.
In the Luhansk region, a UAV warehouse near Chervonopopivka and an area where Russian personnel were concentrated near Purdivka were hit.
The General Staff also clarified the results of previous strikes, confirming that the Tyumen oil refinery in Russia’s Tyumen region was hit on July 25.
According to the General Staff, the refinery has an annual processing capacity of about seven million tonnes of oil. It produces gasoline, diesel fuel, aviation fuel, fuel oil and other petroleum products used, among other purposes, to support Russia’s military-industrial complex and armed forces.
