Ukrainian athletes Oleksii Sereda and Mark Hrytsenko became European champions in synchronized diving from the platform. Their score of 413.76 points was the best for the duo this season.
This was reported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
This is the fifth gold medal for the Ukrainian team at the European Diving Championships, which are being held in Antalya (Turkey). After a two-year break, Sereda and Hrytsenko have restored Ukraine’s leadership in this discipline.
In 2023, Oleksii Sereda and Kirill Bolyukh won gold in synchronized diving from the platform.
Today at 5:15 p.m. Kyiv time, Kseniia Bocek and Diana Karnafel will compete in the women’s 3 m springboard final.
