The Ukrainian company FirePoint has presented new footage of the tests and combat use of the cruise missile “Flamingo”. The video shows both training launches and strikes on targets in the territory of the Russian Federation.
This was reported by Znaj.ua.
The enterprise conducted successful tests a few months ago. After that, the missile was launched into mass production.
When creating “Flamingo”, special attention was paid to three parameters: range, size of the warhead and the possibility of rapid deployment and launch. According to the manufacturer, all these tasks were achieved.
The warhead of the missile weighs 1,150 kilograms, and the flight range exceeds 3,000 kilometers, which allows it to hit targets at depths previously inaccessible to Ukrainian weapons. In addition, “Flamingo” is resistant to Russian electronic suppression means.
A series of combat applications confirmed the missile’s effectiveness: it hit designated targets in Russia. FirePoint is currently working on scaling up the product and expanding production capacity.
