The Armed Forces of Ukraine have launched a spontaneous flash mob to thank the people of the United States for their military assistance to Ukraine. Videos of how American equipment saves the lives of Ukrainians have already been posted by an F-16 fighter pilot and Patriot and HAWK air defense system operators.
F-16 pilot Vadym Karaya Voroshilov started a flash mob of gratitude to the Americans.
“Dear American people, my comrades-in-arms who are defending Ukraine on F-16s send their gratitude for the opportunity to effectively defend Ukrainian cities from Russian terror and protect the people of Ukraine. Your help is an opportunity for us to fight for our democracy. Thank you for your support. Together to victory,” the pilot wrote in a video from the cockpit with words of gratitude.
The initiative was picked up by the operator of the Patriot air defense system of the Ukrainian Air Force, who thanked the Americans and called for further support for Ukrainians.
“We thank the entire American people for supplying us with weapons! Thanks to your support, we can defend our cities and the people who live in them! The struggle of Ukrainians continues.”
The flash mob was also joined by Ukrainian operators of the HAWK anti-aircraft missile system of the South Air Command.
“Dear American people! We, the soldiers of the Ukrainian air defense unit, want to express our gratitude for all your support in these difficult times. This system has already saved hundreds of lives of our people in the cities, protecting them from Russian missiles and drones. Thank you for standing with us in our fight for democracy and freedom. Your support is very important to us,” the Ukrainian military said.
