The Ukrainian Armed Forces stated that reports of Russian troop advances in Vovchansk and Synkivka are untrue. Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces repelled 13 enemy attacks over the past 24 hours.
This is stated in a report by the Joint Forces Operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As of March 23, Russian troops continue to attempt to break through defenses in Vovchansk, but have not succeeded.
Earlier, the analytical project DeepState reported on the occupiers’ advance in Vovchansk, Synkivka, and near Zaliznyanske, but the military denied this information.
According to the military, in the Southern Slobozhanskyi direction, Russian forces attacked in the direction of Starytsia, Vovchanskiy Khutir, Zybine, and Okhrimivka, but their assault groups were repelled.
Active combat operations also continued in the Kupiansk and Lyman sectors. The occupiers attempted to take positions near Borivska Andriivka, Kupiansk, Novoplatonivka, and Kivsharivka. Additionally, Ukrainian forces repelled attacks in the areas of Serednie, Stavky, Shyikivka, and Dibrova.
In the Velykoburlutsky direction, according to military reports, the enemy is amassing forces to resume offensive operations.
In total, 13 attacks were neutralized within the group’s area of responsibility. Over the past day, 260 Russian soldiers, one armored vehicle, four artillery pieces and mortars, 88 units of automotive and specialized equipment, as well as 13 drone control centers were destroyed. Additionally, three ammunition depots and one fuel and lubricant depot were struck.
