Ukraine’s women’s wrestling team has won the team standings at the European Championships in Tirana. The athletes secured eight medals, including six golds.
The results were reported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.


Ukrainian wrestlers won 8 medals at the European Championships in Tirana, Albania: 6 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze.
Iryna Koliadenko became a European champion for the fourth time in her career, while Oksana Livach secured her third title.
Gold medals were won by Oksana Livach (50 kg), Iryna Koliadenko (65 kg), Mariia Vynnyk (59 kg), Anastasiia Alpieieva (76 kg), Mariia Yefremova (53 kg), and Nadiia Sokolovska (72 kg).
Liliia Malanchuk (55 kg) won silver, while Solomiia Vynnyk (57 kg) took bronze.
The ministry noted that after the women’s team, the European Championships in three wrestling disciplines will continue with freestyle wrestlers.
