        Ukraine’s public debt has reached almost USD 160 billion

        As of November 30, 2024, Ukraine’s public and publicly guaranteed debt reached UAH 6,644.68 billion, which is equivalent to USD 159.74 billion.

        This was reported by the Ministry of Finance.

        Among this amount, the external debt is UAH 4,770.12 billion, or USD 114.68 billion, which is 71.79% of the total. The domestic debt, in turn, is equal to UAH 1,874.56 billion, or $45.07 billion (28.21%).

        Ukraine’s own public debt reaches UAH 6,365.47 billion, or $153.03 billion, which is 95.8% of the total. Within this amount, the state external debt is equal to UAH 4,557.48 billion, or USD 109.57 billion, and the internal debt is equal to UAH 1,807.99 billion, or USD 43.47 billion.

        The state-guaranteed debt amounts to UAH 279.21 billion, or $6.71 billion, of which UAH 212.64 billion ($5.11 billion) is external debt and UAH 66.57 billion ($1.60 billion) is domestic debt.

        In November 2024, the volume of public and publicly guaranteed debt increased by UAH 231.12 billion in hryvnia equivalent and by USD 4.37 billion in dollar equivalent.
