        Ukraine names its cross-country and skiing team for the 2026 Winter Olympics

        The Ministry of Youth and Sports has announced Ukraine’s team for skiing disciplines at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games, which will take place in Milan-Cortina. A total of 22 athletes will represent Ukraine.

        In cross-country skiing, the team includes Anastasiia Nikon, Sofiia Shkatula, Yelyzaveta Nopriienko, Daryna Mihal, Dmytro Drahun and Oleksandr Lisohor. In case of additional quotas, Daryna Kovalova and Andrii Dotsenko may join the team.

        In freestyle skiing, Ukraine will be represented in aerials by Anhelina Brykina, Diana Yablonska, Nelli Popovych, Oksana Yatsiuk, Dmytro Kotovskyi, Maksym Kuznietsov, Oleksandr Okipniuk and Yan Havriuk. In freeski, Kateryna Kotsar has been named to the team. Orest Kovalenko may be added if an additional quota is secured, with Zakhar Maksymchuk listed as a reserve.

        In snowboarding, Annamari Danchа has been included in the main squad. In the event of additional quotas, Nadiia Hapatyn and Mykhailo Kharuk could also join the team.

        In alpine skiing, Ukraine will be represented by Anastasiia Shepilenko and Dmytro Shepiuk. Taras Filiak and Maksym Mariichyn have been named to the reserve squad.

        In ski jumping, the team includes Yevhen Marusiak and Vitalii Kalinichenko. Karina Kozlova and Zhanna Hlukhova may be added if additional quotas become available.

        In Nordic combined, Ukraine will be represented by Dmytro Mazurchuk and Oleksandr Shumbarets.
