Ukraine marks the second anniversary of the liberation of Kherson

Today, November 11, Ukraine celebrates the second anniversary of the liberation of Kherson and the entire Right Bank of the Kherson region. Two years ago Ukrainian flags were raised again over the city, which during the occupation became a symbol of indestructibility.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Kherson has been under enemy control, but local residents have shown real courage by coming out to pro-Ukrainian rallies.

Kherson was under occupation for more than eight months, and this time was a hard test for the residents: daily terror, pressure and torture did not break Kherson residents. During the liberation they met the Armed Forces of Ukraine with flags and slogans: “Kherson is Ukraine”.

Kherson was and remains a Hero-City despite daily shelling and proximity to enemy positions.

Today Kherson and the entire right bank suffers from daily shelling, as the Russians hit the towns and villages of the region chaotically. It is mainly civilians who are injured.
