On Sunday, 10 November, a Russian drone was found in the Causeni district. According to preliminary data, it was a Shahed-type drone that could have been directed at targets in Ukraine.
Later, another downed drone was found, TV8 TV channel reported citing the police.
According to the TV channel, the drone was found near the village of Novye Boroseni in the Ryshkan district of the country.
The area where the drone was found has been cordoned off and explosion technicians have arrived on the scene.
Moldovan Foreign Minister Mihail Popşoi condemned the violation of the country’s airspace. He also emphasised that the two Russian drones that fell on the territory of Moldova on Sunday endangered the lives of his country’s citizens.
