Units of the Third Assault Brigade have delivered a crushing blow to Russian forces in the Kharkiv region. Over two days of intense combat on 8 and 9 January, the enemy lost more than 20 pieces of equipment, including tanks and armoured vehicles.
The assault was launched by the 4th Guards Tank Division of Russia’s 1st Tank Army, which attempted to break through Ukrainian positions. However, the convoy was intercepted en route. Soldiers of the Third Assault Brigade struck with precision, using ATGMs to destroy vehicles, while also dismantling a pontoon crossing and deploying FPV drones to target the convoy. Enemy infantry were caught under artillery fire, and the remaining vehicles were halted by well-placed minefields.
After their initial failure, Russian forces made a second attempt, attacking from four directions simultaneously. This effort also ended in disaster, as Ukrainian defenders destroyed the armoured groups with anti-tank missiles, artillery strikes, and drones.

І це майже як танкова битва під Бродами в 41-му. Бо за ці бої з Третьою штурмовою окупанти втратили 20 одиниць своєї техніки.

The operation was conducted by units including the Paskuda group, FATUM, Totentanz.Group, DEUS EX MACHINA, and other soldiers of the Third Assault Brigade. Their coordinated efforts decisively demonstrated that Russian tactics only lead to heavier losses.
Ukrainian forces continue to destroy the enemy daily, proving that no strategy or equipment can overcome the resilience of Ukraine’s defenders.
