On the night of 12 May, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 108 Shahed strike UAVs and various types of drone simulators.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
As of 08:30, 55 Shahed strike UAVs (other types of drones) were confirmed to have been shot down in the east, north, south and centre of the country.
Thirty enemy drone simulators were lost.
The Odesa, Mykolaiv, Donetsk and Zhytomyr regions were affected by the enemy attack.
In the Donetsk region, a Russian strike UAV attacked a freight train, injuring the driver, who was hospitalised.
